Tai Chi (Taijiquan 太极拳), a slow, meditative form of traditional Chinese martial arts centered on internal cultivation.

  • Moving meditation that trains focus, balance, and alignment

  • Cultivates internal energy (qi 气) through breath and awareness

  • Develops relaxed strength and whole-body coordination

  • Slow movement, slow breath, slow mind. Good form of meditation for people who can’t meditate.

  • Includes traditional martial applications and partner work (push hands)

We offer Tai Chi classes on Sunday and Wednesday mornings and Tuesday and Thursday evenings

Kung Fu (Gongfu 功夫), the classical martial arts of China — an embodied discipline uniting flexibility, strength, agility, and spirit. We teach kids and adults, both external, athletically-focused, and internal, meditation-focused styles.

  • Trains flexibility through deep stretching and dynamic warmups

  • Builds strength and stability through foundational stances and powerful kicks

  • Develops coordination and rhythm through traditional forms and flowing sequences

  • Enhances agility and confidence with tumbling, acrobatics, and weapons training

  • Cultivates distance, timing, and awareness through partner drills

We offer external Kung Fu on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Internal Kung fu on Wednesday. Kids Kung Fu on Tuesday and Thursday.

Qi Gong 气功 (chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese health cultivation practice, a set of slow exercises to maintain balance, improve flexibility, and stimulate the flow of internal energy.

  • Promotes balance — both mental and physical — through slow, grounded movement

  • Gently stretches the body to open the joints, release tension, and restore flow

  • Cultivates tranquility, imagination, and a felt sense of connection to the natural world

  • Supports healing by dissolving energetic blockages and harmonizing the organ systems

  • Adaptable for all levels of fitness and mobility — a practice of openness, ease, and renewal

We offer Qigong every Sunday and Wednesday morning.
